In various situations, changes in tasks (like category, date, etc.) are not synchronized from Outlook to XMind.

This problem is connected to Outlook security settings. It allows to grant access to external apps only for ten minutes maximum. After this time the link is broken and we are unable to sync back changes.

We are working to resolve this issue.

I'm using clickyes and it appears to be working fine.

However, my question was regarding the actual task: if I create a task in outlook and then drag it into an xmind category while still in outlook, shouldn't it show up in xmind on the appropriate tree branch already placed? If I have to categorize something twice, or am forced to categorize only in xmind this is a serious imposition.

The Outlook tree view in XMind currently is not automatically updated. You need to click the Import task button to refresh the view.
